Today is the first of the month, which means launch day for our April Featured Tee design.
Our new design, Worship I AM, speaks to my heart. I am a worshiper. Worship music is how I most connect to God. Worship is how I get through my worst days. It’s how I survive long periods of mundane. It sustains my highs and mellows my lows. Worship is such a huge part of my life!
I had the idea for this shirt a few weeks back. Shortly after that, this scripture was in my daily reading: “God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” Exodus 3:14.
Before this, Moses had been protesting to God, saying “Who Am I” to do these things you are asking me to do? And when God answered, He told Moses, “I will be with you…” This back and forth between Moses and God went on a little longer, until finally God told Moses to say to the people of Israel, “tell them I AM has sent me to you.”
You see, who I am is not the point. What matters is who God is! The enemy tries to beat me up, convince me that I’m nothing. He tries to take me out with self-doubt and confusion. But when I fix my thoughts on Jesus, on who He is, and worship I AM, those doubts and that confusion start to fall away. Who God is, and what God says about me, becomes my focus and my identity.
I AM your peace. (Isaiah 26:3)
I AM love. (Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:8)
I AM with you (Matthew 28:20)
I AM your shepherd. (John 10:14)
I AM your rest. (Matthew 11:29)
I AM your Rock. (Psalm 62:2)
I AM the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6)
So I am excited to have this shirt in my closet as a reminder to worship I AM, the one who is everything I need. I pray it will be your reminder, also, that He will give you the grace to worship and believe He is everything you need, too.
